My name is Roger Beattie and I founded Middle Class Millionaires. I did it because a good friend found out that I had retired when I turned 50. He knew that my business had provided the income needed to support my family, produced an asset base and operation that secured my family's financial future, produced tremendous ongoing income and had completely paid off all my bills including my home, cars, lines of credit, etc. He knew I had a future free from financial worry and he convinced me that despite what I had achieved, I should still be working, productive and hopefully making a difference. Now I want to make sure you understand something. I am just a regular guy. I'm not any brighter than most people. I don't work any harder than most people and I suspect I work far less than many. I don't want you to think I'm some know-it-all billionaire, because I'm not. I have been blessed to have had great teachers and mentors throughout my career. They were kind to me, patient with me and taught me the business. I was able to take what they taught and use it for myself and my family. So now I get to enjoy some of the perks life makes available. I am private pilot because that was a goal of mine as a kid. I travel frequently with my wonderful wife. We enjoy the best of the world's entertainment and incredible food. We spend lots of time with family and friends. I drive a BMW because I think it is the best engineered vehicle ever made (and besides, it is so much fun to drive it is amazing). I have learned that I don't need a billion dollars in assets to have everything I want. A few million is more than enough. I guess when it comes right down to it I'm comfortably upper middle class. No, I'm not Donald Trump, and I neither need nor want to be because I'm perfectly happy being a Middle Class Millionaire. I did it all with real estate and so can you. If I have had any advantage in building my net worth, it is simply that I know some things that other people don't. I know real estate and I know how it really works. Yes, because of real estate my life is good. I'm happy. I am financially secure.

You're interested in real estate or you wouldn't be reading this. But then again, most people are. Go to any gathering and when the discussion turns to money, as they all eventually do, the topic will turn to real estate. And it should. Real estate is the basis for all wealth. It is the foundation of all financial security. It is the stuff dreams are made of. Everybody knows how important it is. Everybody knows that you can meet all of your financial goals with it. Everybody knows other people who have made millions of dollars with it. Yet it seems that almost nobody acts. That's because, despite all the talk, people don't really know what to do to capitalize on real estate. Even many who profess to be "in the business" are found woefully inadequate in their knowledge, experience and expertise. Sure, people know they can become financially secure with real estate but only a few really know how. It reminds me of the Chinese Proverb: "To know and not to do, is to not know." At Middle Class Millionaires we know how to make money with real estate, and we are teaching and helping other people, just like you, to do it too.

Facts of financial life.

According to The Social Security Administration, for every 100 people, by the time they turn 65;

  • 1, (that's right, only 1) will be wealthy
  • 4 will be financially secure
  • 5 will be forced to continue working to maintain their lifestyle
  • 36 will be dead, and
  • 54 will be dead broke!

That's horrible. After a lifetime of work, a lifetime of struggle, a lifetime of effort, only 5% of all people will be financially secure. Since I'm sure you plan to live to 65, your minimum goal should be to be in that secure 5%. Trust me on this; that 5% of people live really well. You have every opportunity to achieve that level of happiness and security in your life. There are a huge number of people who now enjoy this elevated lifestyle who started out with less than you have now and they have achieved it through their hard work and good decisions. Chances are I'm one of them. I started out with nothing but desire and I made it. So can you.

Just because you can achieve the financial freedom most people only dream about does not mean that you will. My life experience teaches me three interesting facts. They are:

  • Many people lay awake nights worrying about financial problems, but do not spend one waking minute learning how and trying to solve them.
  • Most people are afraid of what they don't understand, refuse to learn enough to remove the unnecessary fear and are therefore unable to act on opportunities that would have provided the greatest bounties of life.
  • Most people waste hundreds of dollars a month, thousands a year, but will not invest a penny in the education necessary to guarantee their future security

I believe that there is nothing you can do for these people and unfortunately their life reflects the very attitudes that have kept them paralyzed in indecision and doomed to an existence that does not provide the freedom, security and joy they could have had. What a shame. This is a wonderful life. It should be lived to the fullest and enjoyed to the utmost. Like it or not, your financial security goes a long way toward determining the quality of your life, experience and existence. I'm hoping that you are not one of those that handcuff themselves with indecision. If you are, then this message will be a waste of your time because later I am going to ask you to make a positive decision to join MCM. If I should come off the wall, I may get a few scrapes, bumps and bruises; but I'm not going to fall to my death. When I climb, I know Bart's got my back.
